ABOUT THE FARMYARD FRIENDS

What we do

Farmyard Friends is a non-profit dedicated to shaping today's youth that will lead our farming industry into a brighter and more sustainable future. We provide youth with scholarships to cover the costs of leasing and caring for their animals. We also help to cover the cost of part of the travel for youth to go to national livestock breed conventions to compete in competitions to teach them important life skills. The animals they lease range from common livestock breeds to rare/endangered breeds. The Farmyard Friends Non-profit is working to promote and restore these breeds in Maryland and across the country.
